Minutes

7th October 2005 - Twenty Ninth Meeting

  • The Minutes and Resolutions of the previous meeting were approved.
  • The purpose of the meeting was to finalise the principles that the Trustees will apply to the claims for Particular Financial Hardship, in the context of a small sample of claims. The Trustees would require financial projections to ascertain whether the payment levels they had adopted were feasible in light of the limit on the Discretionary Fund.
  • The Second Deed of Variation of the Trust Deed was approved and signed.
  • The Trustees considered 3 new claims, 1 claim for an additional payment and 1 case with outstanding issues. They also considered 5 claims for Particular Emotional Hardship in relation to 4 victims and 3 re-submitted claims for Particular Emotional Hardship in relation to 4 victims.
